  • Stacia Kalinoski is an Emmy award-winning TV journalist who lost her reporting career to a seizure. Stacia then explored the option for brain surgery, and when doctors told her she qualified, an idea struck. She could help reduce the stigma of epilepsy by sharing her journey in a documentary, called Brainstorm.

Brainstorm aired on PBS stations across the country, and Stacia now inspires audiences to overcome their own challenges. She sees the documentary as her payback to the epilepsy community, for doctors giving her her life back.
